SUNDERLAND’S Premier League home game against Tottenham Hotspur has been rescheduled for a live television broadcast - on the same day as the Great North Run.
The Black Cats’ had been due to take on Spurs at the Stadium of Light on Saturday, September 12 at 3pm.
The club has announced it will now take place the following day at 1.30pm, the same day as the run.
Tickets for all 19 home games at the Stadium of Light are still available for the new season, with season card prices starting from £99 for under 16s, £220 for under 22s and £400 for adults.
Special packages in the stadium’s family zone, which sold out last season, are £425 for an adult and a junior, with an additional child aged under 16 also being able to be added to the package for only £25.
