THE full line-up has been revealed for the region’s first electronic music festival with camping.

Newcastle-based DJ Cristoph and Fabric nightclub regulars Menendez Brothers will headline the Northbridge Music Festival in a rural location near Sedgefield, County Durham on Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19.

The event, organised by Ben Tinkler, from Bolam, near West Auckland, will celebrate house, techno and soul music, with the full line-up of established and up-and-coming acts now available.

Others big names to have signed up include: Kokiri Hannes Bruniic, People Get Real, Abstract and Logic, Jacky, Deaf by Disco, Martijn, Groove Syndicate, Andy Lee, Solar Knights, Lee Walker and Clint Hills.

Mr Tinkler is particularly thrilled to have secured Kokiri, who has just had a number one in the Radio One dance music chart with the release Turn Back Time (Retrospect).

As well as live music, the festival will feature a 40-metre waterslide, a VIP area and much more.

It will also use green energy and offer rewards for recycling.

Mr Tinkler, a 23-year-old support worker, said: “I’m so excited to be bringing such big names to the North-East.

“We have capacity for 500 but there are much bigger events around than us so it is fantastic to have secured these established acts.”

Weekend camping tickets, priced from £50, are now available from northbridgefestival.co.uk
