FANS of rock band The Foo Fighters are being advised they can now collect their tickets for next week’s show at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland.

Anyone who purchased vouchers in-person from The Stadium of Light ticket office can now collect their tickets by bringing their voucher and a form of identification. Fans are being advised to collect tickets as soon as possible to avoid queues on the day.

A small number of tickets are still available to purchase in person from The Stadium of Light ticket office or by calling the ticket hotline on 0191 551 5004. More information can be found at www.safcconcerts.com.

With heavy queues and traffic expected, The Stadium of Light and Metro are urging those attending to make sure they have their journey planned.

Metro will be running additional trains before and after the concert in order to ensure there is enough transport for the tens of thousands of people attending.

An all day all zone ticket on the Tyne and Wear Metro is now available for purchase for the day of the concert. It can be purchased from Metro ticket machines and Nexus Travel Shops for £4.60.

It is suggested that passengers board at either St Peter’s station or The Stadium of Light station when leaving the venue, as trains will not stop at Sunderland station after the concert.

More information on travelling with Tyne and Wear Metro can be found at www.nexus.org.uk/metro.
