Police apppeal after watch con
TWO men tried to persuade an elderly man to withdraw cash to buy watches from them in Sunderland on Saturday lunchtime.
Police want to trace the elderly man, who it is thought is in his 80s and was smartly dressed with a cream coloured jacket and beige checked hat.
Two men have been arrested.
Anyone with information is asked to call Northumbria Police on 101.
