POLICE want to speak to this man after a woman was assaulted in Sunderland city centre.
The incident happened at 12.52am on Friday, January 16, when the 26-year old was assaulted on Derwent Street.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to who may have information to assist officers in their enquiries.
"He is described as a man in his 20s with a distinctive tattoo on the left side of his head, it is a star with a dust trail," said a Northumbria Police spokeswoman.
"Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident or recognises the male in the images to come forward. You can contact police by calling 101 and quoting incident number 36 16/01/15 or call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
