ATTACK: Police are investigating
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman was punched in the face in Hetton-le-Hole.
It happened near the old boxing club in Front Street at around 3.30pm on Friday.
The two women who carried out the attack then left the scene in opposite directions.
The victim was left with minor facial injuries.
A 44-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the incident and bailed pending further enquiries. Anyone who witnessed the incident to contact Northumbria Police on 101 ext 69191.
