AN ANIMAL re-homing charity has received a £300 donation.
Animal-Krackers, a Sunderland-based cause which rescues and re-homes cats, dogs and other small animals, was presented with the money from the Galaxy Hot Chocolate Fund.
Director Ian Williams said: “This donation from the Galaxy Hot Chocolate Fund will go towards vet bills as well as updating our cat furniture.
“We will also be able to use the funding towards the cost of veterinary bills, as many of the small animals that come into us have been injured or mistreated.”
The fund is open for entries until Monday, February 23. Five £300 awards will be made each week. Visit galaxyhotchocolate.com
