A MAN from has appeared in court charged with murdering his parents.
Martin Ruddy, 28, is accused of killing Eric Ruddy, 64, and wife Carol, 54, at their home in Elswick, Newcastle on Friday night.
He appeared at North Tyneside Magistrates' Court this morning (Monday, December 15)
Ruddy spoke only to say he understood the charges against him and to confirm to he was of no fixed abode.
He was remanded in custody and proceedings against him were adjourned until January 6 when he will appear at Newcastle Crown Court.
