A JOGGER was bitten on his bottom by two off-the-leash dogs.

It happened at 2.30pm on Saturday, October 11, as the 36-year-old man was jogging on Biddick Lane, Washington.

The Staffordshire BullTerriers also bit him on the calf, thigh and lower back.

Police are appealing for information about the woman who was walking the dogs so officers can speak to her.

She was 45 to 50 years old, about 5ft 4ins tall, of large build and with a tanned complexion.

She had dark hair tied back in a pony tail and is described as having bad teeth and tattoos across the top of her chest.

She was wearing a cream or white hooded top and black bottoms.

Enquiries are ongoing into the incident and Northumbria Police are appealing for anyone who knows who the woman is to contact them on 101, extension 69191, quoting reference number 804 11/10/14.
