POLICE are appealing for information after a man was bitten by two dogs.
A police spokesman said a 36-year-old man was jogging on Biddick Lane, in Washington, on Wearside, when he was attacked by two Staffordshire bull terriers, at 2.30pm on Saturday, October 11.
He suffered bite marks to his calf, thigh, buttock and lower back.
The dogs were off the lead at the time of the incident and were being walked by a woman, who police need to identify and speak to.
She is described as being about 45 to 50-years-old, about 5ft 4ins tall, of large build and with a tanned complexion.
She had dark hair tied back in a pony tail, and is described as having bad teeth and tattoos across the top of her chest.
She was wearing a cream or white hooded top and black bottoms at the time of the incident.
Inquiries are ongoing into the incident.
