SCOTTISH pop stars Texas, reunited girlband All Saints and soul singer Gabrielle will perform at a North-East music festival on August Bank Holiday weekend.
The stars are on the bill for SoundWaves 2014, to be held at Bents Park, South Shields, on Saturday, August 23.
Alan Kerr, deputy leader at festival organisers South Tyneside Council, said: “SoundWaves 2014 promises an afternoon and evening of amazing entertainment and we’ve tried to make it as affordable as possible for large groups and families to all come along.
“What better way to start a Bank Holiday weekend than with some of music’s biggest names.”
Gates open at 4.30pm and the music will continue until about 9.30pm.
Tickets are priced £30 for adults and £20 for children aged five to 16 and are currently being offered two for the price of one.
