COMPANY bosses will sleep rough on the pitch at St James’ Park to raise money for charity.
CEO Sleepout will see businessmen and women swap the luxury of their beds for sleeping bags and thick jumpers at the home of Newcastle United in aid of a range of homelessness charities.
The event, first staged last year, will take place on October 9 to 10, which is World Homeless Day.
The Lord Mayor of Newcastle, George Pattison, has signed up to take part, along with David Langhorne, director of property services at Your Homes Newcastle.
Mr Langhorne said: “I’m sure it will be an experience that stays with me for the rest of my life.”
