POLICE are appealing for help to find a missing woman.
Lynda Foulkes, 46, left her relative's address at Moor Court in Gosforth today (Wednesday, August 13).
The car, a black Honda Jazz registration ND62 XDP, was last seen at about 1.30pm in the Alnwick area.
Extensive enquiries are ongoing to trace her and police are appealing for the public's help.
Inspector Andy Berne said: "We believe Lynda left the Newcastle area in a vehicle, which was last seen in the Alnwick area early this afternoon.
"We're concerned for her welfare and would ask anyone who sees this vehicle or who has information about where she is to get in touch with us as soon as possible."
Ms Foulkes’ home address is in Bury in the North-West but she is originally from Gosforth and is visiting family in the area.
She is described as white, of slim build, 5ft 2ins tall, and has short black/greying hair and brown eyes. When she was last seen, she was wearing grey jeans, grey trainers and a pale grey sweater.
