POLICE are hunting two suspects who forced their way into a man’s home looking for cannabis.
The two masked men forced entry to a property on Elm Street, South Moor, Stanley, before allegedly demanding “give us what you’ve got.”
The incident happened just after 12am yesterday.
A Durham Police spokesperson said: "The suspects fled in a small silver vehicle after being spooked by a dog in the house.
"The men are described as being in their 20s and wore grey or dark-coloured tracksuits.
"A number of cannabis plants were seized from the property and police are currently investigating this."
