CRASH: Emergency services attended the scene of a crash near High Handenhold
EMERGENCY services were called to a crash between Stanley and Chester-le-Street this morning.
The incident, believed to have happened around 7am, resulted in a stretch of the A693 at High Handenhold being reduced to one lane causing delays in the area.
However, the accident has now been cleared and traffic is returning to normal.
