A COMMUNITY theatre group is putting the finishing touches to its latest pantomime.
Shoestring Theatre Company is performing Aladdin at The Venue on Wear Road in Stanley next week.
Director Bill Wilkinson said: “This is a great story with lots of laughs and fun on the way.
“It is the ultimate in love stories as Aladdin, Hannah Watson, seeks to marry his true love, Princess Mandarin, Katelyn Dodds.
“It is a magical adventure for the whole family to enjoy.”
The show runs is being performed at 7pm on Thursday and Friday, January 18 and 19, and 2pm and 7.15pm on January 20.
Tickets cost £5, £4 for children aged under 14, with family tickets available for £17.
