A BUS mad little boy has been given a personal tour of a depot.
Five-year-old Spencer Holtham, from Catchgate, near Stanley, was guest of honour at Go North East’s £8.5 million depot, in Gateshead.
Spencer, a pupil at St Patrick’s Primary School, Dipton, was joined by his parents Graham and Suzanne, and three-year-old sister, Jessica.
Spencer is bus crazy and wants to be a bus driver when he grow up.
He has already completed several new driver applications for Go North-East, despite being a little on the young side.
Mr Holtham, added: “Spencer absolutely loves buses and seeing his face throughout the tour was priceless.
“He’ll be talking about this for years.”
Stephen King, from Go North-East, provided a behind-the-scenes visit of Riverside, which opened in January 2014.
Mr King said: “He seems as keen as ever to become a driver or an engineer when he’s old enough.
“We hope to see him enrolling on our training assessments in a few years’ time.”
