AN OUTDOOR museum has a packed programme of half-term activities.
Having hosted Home Guard drills at the weekend, Beamish Museum will stage traditional craft activities and a 1940s Farm for Kids’ day on Monday (October 26), a Suffragette rally on Tuesday (October 27), Victorian school lessons on Wednesday (October 28), more craft activities on Thursday (October 29) and animal sessions on Friday (October 30).
Next weekend (October 31-November 1), there will be more Home Guard drills and a guy-making workshops for Bonfire Night.
Historic events officer Paul Foster said: “There’s lots going on for the whole family every day at Beamish this half-term. Come and join the fun.”
