A 49-YEAR-OLD man has been airlifted to hospital after he became trapped between a Ford Transit and Honda car.
The accident happened just after 8am today (Tuesday, June 24) in Bethany Gardens, Stanley.
He was taken to the RVI in Newcastle suffering from non life threatening leg injuries. His condition is described as ‘serious but stable’.
