A HOUSING association has revealed plans to build dozens of new bungalows.
Social landlord Derwentside Homes has submitted two planning applications to build new houses on separate sites in Stanley.
The association wants to build 25 two-bedroom bungalows, along with 48 car parking spaces, on a 1.9-hectare site next to Humber Hill.
It is also seeking permission for a development of 10 two-bedroom bungalows on a 0.5-hectare site of vacant land next to Chaucer Close.
Durham County Council is expected to rule on the two applications in the next few months.
