Derwent Valley Partnership is looking for volunteers to take part in an ‘after event’ litter pick following the forthcoming Party in the Park event on Sunday July 20, 12pm-6pm in Blackhill and Consett Park.

Bin bags and litter pickers will be provided for all volunteers who help us to keep the park clean and tidy both during and after the event.

People and groups who can spare some time to volunteer during the course of the day are asked to contact the partnership by Friday May 16. Volunteers will be split in to three teams, before, during and after event, based on the time they can give.
