TWO County Durham martial artists came back from the British Kendo Association Jodo National Championships in Birmingham with medals.
Brian Ford, instructor at the West Lea club in Seaham, was awarded a silver medal in the individual and a gold medal in the Hasai team event.
Dek Bresnen, of the same club, was awarded a bronze medal in the individual competition and a bronze medal in the Hasai team event.
Training takes place every Tuesday evening between 7pm and 9pm at West Lea – all styles welcome.
