A SUSPECTED shoplifter is wanted by police for questioning.

CCTV images captured at Co-op store in Blackhall Colliery, near Peterlee, has been released in a bid to help Durham Constabulary with their investigation.

Officers were called following a suspected shoplifting incident on October 1.

The man is described as being in his 40s, with short dark hair and wearing a camouflage jacket, light wash jeans and trainers.
