THE Hartlepool RNLI inshore and all weather lifeboats volunteer crews were launched at 8.45am on Sunday by Humber Coastguard to reports of a Mayday call in the Seaham area.
They were stood down at 9.10am.
The all weather lifeboat returned to the Ferry Road base whilst the inshore lifeboat stayed at sea to carry out a scheduled exercise.
