A LITTLE boy who has captured the hearts of the nation is on his way to Disneyland Paris.

Five-year-old Bradley Lowery, who is being treated for a rare form of cancer, was pictured on the Eurostar by mother Gemma on Sunday.

Mrs Lowery, from Blackhall Colliery, County Durham, posted a photograph on Facebook with the caption: “We are now on the Eurostar on our way to Disneyland Paris.

“Bradley is super excited and so is mammy.”

The youngster, who has been diagnosed with neuroblastoma, was given Match of the Day’s Goal of the Month title for a penalty he took against Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic in front of more than 40,000 supporters at the Stadium of Light.

He scored when he was a mascot at the Sunderland match December.

The family has just returned from London, where they visited Warner Bros Harry Potter Studio Tour thanks to Sunderland AFC.

They also visited Buckingham Palace, where he made a wish for “the nasties” to go away.

Bradley starts another round of treatment at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle on January 16, but before Christmas Bradley’s family was told the treatment would not save his life because the tumour has grown. The cancer returned after a period of remission.
