AN accident involving three vehicles blocked the northbound carriageway of the A19 near Easington this morning.
Motorists experienced major delays due to the incident at A182 / B1283 Durham Lane, on the A19, with congestion reported back to the B1320 Burnhope Way / Mill Hill.
The accident has now been cleared and traffic has returned to normal.
