A CINEMA chain has announced the opening date of a new seven-screen multiplex at a North-East shopping retail park, with 30 new jobs.
Cineworld will open a 1,000-seat facility at Dalton Park, near Murton, east Durham on Friday, September 9, showing the latest Hollywood releases, and including a Baskin Robbins ice cream counter.
Nick Bashford, Cineworld Dalton Park general manager said: “We’re delighted about the opening of Cineworld Dalton Park.
“We have such an exciting line-up of films coming up, like Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Stars Wars: Rogue One, and look forward to welcoming the community to share our passion for film.”
Cinema fans can take advantage of a range of offers at Cineworld Dalton Park including weekly discounted Movies for Juniors screenings for just £2 on Saturdays, Sundays and during school holidays, as well as Student NUS discount.
The cinema is also available for private venue hire.
Cineworld Unlimited Card holders can also enjoy access to an unlimited number of films per month for less than the price of two new-release peak time tickets, as well as 10 per cent off cinema snacks and drinks, local offers at restaurants and shops, and exclusive advance screenings.
Tickets for Cineworld Dalton Park go on sale from Friday, August 26.
