Three people were taken to hospital following a crash on the A19 near Seaham
THREE people have been been taken to hospital following a multi-vehicle crash on the A19, near Seaham.
The accident on the northbound carriageway caused long traffic delays.
The collision happened between Herrington Interchange and the Seaham turn off, with congestion back to the Durham Lane junction.
Traffic from Peterlee towards Sunderland was affected.
