A CAT which is not allowed outdoors due to having a double hip replacement has gone missing.
Vince, a tabby who has to remain indoors due to the operation which he had several years ago, has not been seen since escaping from his home, in Easington Village, County Durham, on Monday evening.
His owner, Katie Francis, is desperate to find her beloved pet, and appealed to people in Easington Village, particularly the Thorpe Road area, to keep an eye out for Vince.
She said: “He is a small tabby with a little stumpy tail.
“He had to be a house cat as he had been run over and had a double hip replacement.
“I’ve had him for six years and he’s never left the house so he’ll never find his way back.
“He has no street or road sense.
“We think he got out on Monday when my husband Glen was getting the washing in.
“I am frantic.”
Anyone with information about Vince should contact Mrs Francis on 07853-828917.
