TWO people are on the run after a car failed to stop for police in Peterlee.
The incident happened on Monday evening.
A spokesman for Durham Roads Policing Unit said the car crashed and one person was arrested.
He said two others were still to be caught and officers were being assisted by the force's helicopter.
