FIRE crews tackled a large blaze on a County Durham industrial estate this morning.
Five fire engines and an aerial ladder platform were called to North East Industrial Estate in Peterlee at about 6am.
The blaze took several hours to bring under control, and was finally out by 10am.
A spokeswoman for County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service, said the building affected was an empty unit.
