CRICKET fans can take lunch with the England squad while helping a sick youngster.
Yorkshire and England bowler Tim Bresnan is staging various events during his benefit year to raise money for Bradley Lowery, a two-year-old cancer sufferer from Blackhall, east Durham, along with Candelighters, a children’s cancer charity in Yorkshire, and the Professional Cricketers’ Association Benevolent Fund.
The next fundraiser is a lunch with the England squad at Lord’s Cricket Ground on Tuesday, July 22, the day after an England v India Test Match.
The event runs from noon to 3.30pm. For further details, visit timbresnanbenefit.co.uk or email: enquiries@timbresnanbenefit.co.uk
Bradley Lowery’s family are trying to raise £500,000 to send him to the USA for treatment of his neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer. They have so far raised £170,500.
