STAFF at the Durham offices of a national housebuilder are “pawsing” their day jobs to support a charity’s annual dog show.
Coxhoe-based Stray Aid has invited Persimmon Homes Durham director of sales Christine Cooper and her colleagues Linda Kent and Rebekah Smith to be some of the guest judges at the show in June as they have been keen supporters of the charity through a Community Champions fund.
Dog-lover Christine said: “The work Stray Aid does is fantastic. All the animals in their care are treated as if they are their own by the staff and they are dedicated to making sure they are all rehomed responsibly.”
The show, at East Durham College in Houghall on Sunday, June 3, is a fun family event which will raise funds and awareness for Stray Aid.
Lee Henderson, for Stray Aid, said: “Over the past year Persimmon Homes in Durham has exceeded our expectations by regularly donating to us.”
