RESCUE: Emergency services were called to Carrville, near Durham, after a car hit a lamppost
A MAN had to be cut free from a vehicle after it crashed into a lamppost in the early hours of this morning.
Firefighters from Durham Fire Station have extricated the male adult from a vehicle following the collision at Carrville, near Durham.
The rescue crews used specialist Holmatro cutting equipment to release him.
