RESIDENTS and colleagues at HC-One’s St Margaret’s Care Home in Crossgate, County Durham, welcomed leading dementia specialist Professor Graham Stokes to the home to enjoy afternoon tea.

Professor Stokes visited St Margaret’s in his position as director of Memory Care Services at HC-One, and gave the team advice on how to further develop services in the newly extended and refurbished Memory Care Community.

Following the discussion, Prof Stokes joined residents Valerie Abley and Peter Elliott, for afternoon tea and talked about the professor’s suggestions for the Memory Care Community.

HC-One is currently celebrating achieving a 9.2/10 average rating on the sector’s leading care home comparison website carehome.co.uk, with St. Margaret’s itself boasting a 9.7/10 rating.
