A WELL-KNOWN comic from the small screen is appearing on stage in the region to mark three decades in show business.
Dave Spikey, best known for writing and co-starring with among others high profile comedian Peter Kay, in award-winning Phoenix Nights, brings his brings his Juggling on a Motorbike tour to the Gala Theatre, in Durham, on Thursday, January 25, at 7.30pm.
The 30th anniversary show will see the Lancastrian laughter-maker look back on his life, which saw him spend 19 years as a biomedical scientist in the National Health Service, before turning to comedy, with a winning routine on a national talen show
