A SCHOOL’S junior pupils have been demonstrating their baking skills – with sales of their creative products going to charity committed to ending child hunger.
Inspired by the hit TV series, students at Durham High School for Girls, held their seventh DHS Bake-Off yesterday.
Over the weekend children donned their aprons to bake their entry, which they brought into school.
The nursery and reception children baked their creations offering in school, because of their age.
Money raised from the event will be given to Action Against Hunger.
Catherine Anderson, head of junior house, said: “I am delighted with the wonderful creations the girls have made today and the effort they have put into their baking.
“Girls in Junior House love to raise funds and support very worthwhile causes and once again, we are pleased to be supporting Action Against Hunger”.
