PAINTING and drawing workshops resume as Bearpark Artists’ Co-op begin its new Autumn programme in the former mining village west of Durham, on Monday.
Tutors John Foker and Romey Chaffer, both established artists, begin a series of ten weekly workshops for beginners or those more experienced at the canvas, at Bearpark Community Centre, from 9.45 to 11.45am.
Students can follow a structured course or pursue more individual creative work.
Life drawing classes, overseen by Barrie Ormsby, begin at Bearpark Artists’ Studio, on Monday October 2.
Charges range from £90 to £120 for the life-drawing, including models’ fees.
Saturday workshops take place on October 14, November 11 and December 9.
Pre-enrolment is essential and further information is available via www.bearparkartists.co.uk, the co-op’s website.
