TWO men will be sentenced next week after admitting burglary and associated offences in separate hearings.

All stem from break-ins at homes in Nevilles Cross, Durham, in June and July.

Properties in Ellam Avenue and Geoffrey Avenue were targeted, with a set of car keys and a bank card taken.

A Fiat 55 car was driven away with use of the keys, while the card was subsequently used to obtain cash.

Richard Alan Gray, 29, of Bradford Crescent, Gilesgate, Durham, recently admitted burglary, theft, driving while disqualified and dishonestly making false representation.

Jonathon Frank Petch, 31, of Geoffrey Avenue, yesterday admitted burglary, fraud by false representation and allowing himself to be driven in a car taken without authority, at Durham Crown Court.

Both will remain in custody until they are jointly sentenced at Teesside, on Friday September 22.
