North East Train to Teach is holding a recruitment event on Saturday, February 11, to give people a chance to discuss primary and secondary teaching in the region.
The organisation works with people who are thinking about a complete career change or are looking at the possibility of redundancy
Prince Bishops Teaching School Alliance, which works with more than 200 schools in the region, will be attending the event at Ramside Hall, near Durham, to provide potential students with support, guidance and answers to any questions including their volunteer programme.
It is now looking for people to start on its school direct training programmes starting in September 2017 and 2018.
The event takes place between 12pm and 4pm and places must be registered by visiting http://www.pbtsa.co.uk.
