A NORTH-EAST solicitors firm has become a partner to a brain injury charity.

EMG Solicitors, based in Durham, is supporting Headway, a charity supporting people dealing with life after a brain injury by taking on its challenge baton - committing it to a year of fundraising.

Managing director Emma Gaudern is known for her professional work for people with brain injuries as part of the practice’s Court of Protection services.

She said: “EMG Solicitors have been huge supporters of Headway and we’re delighted to be taking over the baton and to help raise funds for this massively worthwhile cause.

“We’re very honoured to be able to give it our support.”

Alastair White, from Headway, said: “Over the past few years, the firm has provided invaluable support by raising vital funds to support people in the North East of England, while also helping to raise awareness of brain injury and making more people aware that Headway is here to help.”
