A BISHOP will pop in for breakfast at the next meeting of a gentlemen’s club.
The Right Reverend Paul Butler, Bishop of Durham, is to be guest speaker at the monthly Gentlemen’s Breakfast meeting held in Durham Market Hall.
The Bishop will be guest speaker at the meeting held on Wednesday, January 18 from 9.30am and will also answer questions.
Organised by Durham Markets, Café Cenno and Age UK County Durham the Gentlemen’s Breakfast takes place on the third Wednesday of each month.
Set up as part of Age UK County Durham’s Come Eat Together scheme, it is open to any men aged 50 or over.
Colin Wilkes, managing director of Durham Markets, said: “We’ve managed to bring in speakers from all walks of life.
“We’re all really looking forward to hearing the Bishop of Durham in such an intimate and relaxed setting.”
Numbers are limited and demand is expected to be high.
