UNIVERSITY researchers are to hold a series of lectures examining the legal, constitutional and economic implications of the Brexit vote.
Experts from Durham University will discuss a number of topics surrounding Brexit in a series which runs until March 16.
Organised by Professor Eleanor Spaventa, Director of the Durham European Law Institute, lectures will be held in the Hogan Lovells Lecture Theatre, Durham Law School, Stockton Road, Durham beginning at 1pm today with a discussion of the alternatives available to the UK outside EU membership.
Members of the public are welcome to attend, but places are limited.
Professor Spaventa said: “The only thing we know about Brexit is that it will take years to unravel the legal, political and economic issues arising from our withdrawal. We will cast Brexit in its broader historical, political and economic perspective.”
