TWO sisters have completed the London Marathon for charity.
Lizzie Search, 36, completed Sunday’s (April 24) marathon in four hours and 56 minutes, while her sister Jenny Search, 39, of Durham, crossed the finishing line in four hours and 28 minutes.
Both were raising money for the national charity Epilepsy Action as Lizzie has epilepsy.
Jenny said: “It feels incredible. The course was tough at times but knowing I was running with my sister for such a worthwhile cause really helped me to focus on reaching the finish line.
“The support from the crowds really helped to push us on when the going got tough.”
The sisters have already raised £3,400. To sponsor them, visit uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/marasisters
