A CRITICALLY acclaimed drama will be staged in the region next month (May).

Torben Betts’ Invincible tells the story of couple Oliver and Emily, who leave their middle-class London lifestyle behind to live in a small town in the North-East during the recession.

As they open their doors to their neighbours, class and beliefs collide with tragic and hilarious consequences.

The Original Theatre Company and Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds show is directed by Christopher Harper and stars Alastair Whatley and Emily Bowker.

It will be at the Gala Theatre, Durham, from Monday, May 2 to Wednesday, May 4, with performances each night at 7.30pm.
