A HOTEL is to spend the next two years raising funds for a cancer charity.
The Radisson Blu hotel in Durham has announced a deal to support the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Among the fund raising campaigns will be a £25 Challenge, in which hotel staff are each encouraged to raise the sum to mark the 25th anniversary of the charity’s first unit.
It will also take part in a Give Change For Change programme, which offers hotel guests the opportunity to donate £1 by adding it to their bill which will be split between Teenage Cancer Trust and Radisson’s existing charity The World Childhood Foundation.
Hotel manager Neil Raw said: “The entire team at the hotel is really excited to launch this partnership.
“The work of Teenage Cancer Trust is invaluable and we hope that our fundraising efforts will go some way to help this very worthy cause”
