CHILDREN can expect a wild time when TV star Michaela Strachan makes a return visit to a tourist attraction.

The BBC Springwatch presenter will be at Adventure Valley in Durham on Tuesday (Aug 4) to present her live Really Wild Adventures show and sign books.

Last year, the performer visited Adventure Valley to open its £250,000 indoor farmyard and theatre.

Attraction owner Marco Calzini said: “When Michaela came to Adventure Valley last year her shows were a complete sell out.

“We’ve invited her back to do a couple of shows in the morning in the theatre, which are limited to just 100 people per show, but she will also be doing a show outside at 2.30pm so everyone visiting Adventure Valley will get to see her.

Michaela Strachan, “I'm really looking forward to coming back to Adventure Valley and doing my children's show 'Michaela Strachan's Really Wild Adventures', which is all about adventures I've had whilst filming wildlife.

“It's in poem form and tells you how to do polar bear dentistry, why you should never try to out spit a spitting cobra, and what bonnetheads, nurses and soupfins have in common.”
