A NEW guide book for visitors to Durham has been published.
Durham: City, Vale, Dales and Coast includes sections on the county’s four areas and its history.
The 32-page paperback has been created by Visit County Durham (VCD) and publisher Pitkin.
VCD chairman Ivor Stolliday said: “We’re delighted our partnership with Pitkin has produced such a wonderful guidebook.
“2015 is going to be a major year for Durham, as we celebrate Magna Carta’s 800th anniversary and welcome the unique Yves Saint Laurent: Style is Eternal exhibition to The Bowes Museum and the return of Lumiere.
“But there’s so much more to discover as well and this new guidebook showcases the wide variety of experiences and attractions that Durham has to offer.”
The book is available to buy now, priced £5.
