FOUR generations of the same family are taking part in a hospice’s colour run.
Lexie Morgan Duffy, six, will be joined by her mother Kimberley Morgan, grandmother Michelle Morgan-Black and great-grandmother Janet Morgan for the inaugural St Cuthbert’s Hospice Colourama.
The fundraiser see more than 1,200 people walk or run 5km round Aykley Heads, Durham on Saturday, June 6 before being doused in powder paint.
The family, from Newton Aycliffe, are taking part in memory of Lexie’s sister Libby, who died of a brain tumour.
Ms Morgan-Black said: “We think it’s going to be a lot of fun. We will be proud to walk together. Lexie will be standing there asking for them to throw the paint on her.”
Lexie added: “I like all the different colours chucked at me. I love getting messed up.”
Registration for Colourama closes at midnight on Saturday (May 30). Visit stcuthbertshospice.com
