A PHOTOGRAPHY exhibition by adults with learning disabilities opened today (Tuesday, April 7).

People with sensory impairments or learning difficulties who attend Durham County Council’s Pathways service took the photographs during a six-week introduction to technology course.

Their images have gone on show at County Hall, Durham, and will be on show in the council headquarters’ Durham Room until Saturday, April 18.

Paul Graydon, the Pathways area manager for Derwentside and Chester-le-Street, said: “The group really embraced the opportunity to learn new skills during the course and should be extremely proud of the work they have produced.

“Their photographs will be on display for two weeks, giving the public plenty of time to take a look for themselves.”

Entry to the exhibition is free.
